April 2011. Over 50 workshops to choose from, with 10 workshops usually happening at any given time.
The Festival Store has space to sell various crafts, crystals or your books and CDs. Healing Oasis starts at noon on Friday and continues all weekend. Many readers and healers available for $20 for 1/2 hour & $30 for 1 hour. Accommodation is on a first come first served basis, so register early if you intend to stay on site. Meals need to be pre-ordered as well.
Naramata Centre, near Penticton, in the beautiful Okanagan. Naramata Centre is a retreat and conference facility and the entire site is wheel-chair accessible. DAY 1 - Public Forum.
Being fit and having fun and presentation of the 3rd Annual Health Awards. Guest Speaker: Dr. Art Hister.
DAY 2 - Healthy Heart Screening.
We screened nearly 300 participants that pre-registered. Each person was taken through the stations of assessment, blood pressure, height/weight measurement, eat right, stress management, cholesterol/glucose screening, smoking and lung health and goal setting.
The screening is only available for people 19 years of age and older. You may be placed on a waiting list once the 300 participants have registered. There will also be some times available on the day of the Health Fair if registered participants fail to arrive, so feel free to drop in. - Free Registration for the Healthy Heart Screening is now open.
We are looking to fill a variety of volunteer positions.
