 Learn the secrets of accurate muscle testing and feel better then ever before! The tools learned in the class can be used to help family and friends aswell.
Level One is the core of Touch for Health. In this class we learn the fourteen basic energy meridians along with their placement and function in the body. We learn fourteen muscles that act as indicators for stress in those meridians, and five different ways of balancing them, including spinal reflexes, neurolymphatic points, neurovascular points, meridian tracing, origin/insertion technique and nutrition. Accurate muscle testing and pre-checks are also taught, along with simple and effective pain techniques and emotional stress release. There is so much more that doesn't fit on this page, but it is a weekend to remember!
Prerequisites: none, except a willingness to try something new and have fun.

The Interior Alzheimer Society runs a social recreation day program for people in the early stages of Alzheimer disease or related dementia. The program is offered Mondays from 9:00-2:00pm, and Thursdays from 9:00am-12:00pm. Caregivers are welcome to participate or use the time for respite. We are looking for volunteers to help clients to participate in exercises, singalongs, outings, reminiscing, and preparing coffee. We also would like to find someone with cooking experience to help prepare a light lunch on Mondays. There are also openings in the program for new clients. Angel Workshop for Children - Ages 6 – 13 Connecting to Your Guardian Angel I am finding a need for children to have more support in their understanding and acceptance of personal experiences. My daughter at a young age often talked to her Guardian Angel 'Jessie' and I encouraged it. We all have Guardian Angels and other helpers with us and need to be supported. I had a choir of Angels sing to me as a young child and I didn't feel understood or even safe to express this wonderful experience. In a fun, safe setting we will discuss Angels and spirit guides, the elemental kingdom etc., who to call on if they have nightmares etc. During the workshop children will be given a chance to express their personal experiences. I will tune in and let them know some of the wonderful Angelic beings working with them. The balance of the afternoon will be short guided meditations for them to connect with their Guardian Angel and receive a message.
