Description:
Corn nutritionally, it contains folate, phosphorus, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, manganese, protein, potassium, fiber, thiamine, and panthotenic acid. It also has Vitamins A, C, E and K. That's an impressive list of nutrients.
Ingredients: - 4 cups raw corn kernels cut from cob - ¼ cup olive oil - ½ cup water - ½ tsp. sea salt - 2 chile peppers (jalepeno) - 1 tbsp honey - 1 bunch cilantro - ½ cup ground flaxseeds (preferably golden flaxseed) (if mixture is too watery, add more ground flax until mixture is thicker)
Directions: Mix all ingredients (except flax) in a blender. Add mixture to dry flaxseeds and mix thoroughly. Spread thinly onto dehydrator sheets, transferring onto the dehydrator trays as mixture dries and score into shapes.
You can dehydrate these chips at 105 degrees for about 12 hours or cheat a bit by increasing the temperature to 110 degrees for a slightly less drying time. You want to dehydrate enough to get a crispy chip as opposed to a chewy one.

Keep It Spicy! | Seasonings can add loads of flavor to reduced-fat recipes. Try basil to spruce up poultry, cilantro or salsa with fish, and dill in low-fat cottage cheese. Use cracked black or red pepper for more exciting pasta, and add turmeric to rice dishes. A little spice goes a long way toward making fat-modified dishes taste great. |

Elementals – the Nature Spirits of Earth | The Earth is more alive than you think. In the deepest parts of the oceans, there is life. In the depths of the Earth, where volcanoes are born, there is life. Even the air we breathe has the attribute of life. The universe is just teeming with life, and some day it will be seen by scientists. Some of them are already starting to see it, and they are talking about physics with an attitude, and intelligent design. | Full Article |

Raw Dill Burgers | Category: Raw Foods Description: This is one of my favourite burger recipes, “borrowed” from the raw food un-cook book, by Sergei and Valya Boutenko, “Fresh”. Can be served in a “traditional” bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and your favourite condiments OR served with my favourite raw, “Better Than Mayo” dressing.
