Who Is In The Driver’s Seat?

Now more than ever, we are inundated with the media constantly bombarding us with doom and gloom.  Never before have we had such access to news on a global level.  Unfortunately it is rare when any news around the world is uplifting, happy or inspiring.  If it isn’t the downturn in the economy then it is about the latest virus or terrorist attack.  It is challenging for each and every one of us to step out of the ‘fear bubble’ and be more of an observer.  Yet this is exactly what we need to do so that we aren’t contributing to the negativity any further and instead make a positive difference by doing things to counteract it. 

Each of us needs to be especially diligent in our thoughts and the words we speak.  I have noticed now more than ever, people are getting into the habit of saying fearful things.  Many of you have likely seen The Secret or read books on creating abundance and manifesting; books by Esther and Gerry Hicks being some of my favorites.  Whether you have or not, the bottom line is we can create that which we fear and our thoughts and spoken words are extremely powerful. 

From the beginning of time, we as humans have had to face duality and have chosen the path of struggle to learn our life’s lessons.  Our soul is all about LOVE and our ego is all about FEAR.  Our ego is doing its best to help us to survive and it comes from reaction based on cellular memories of what has transpired in our past.   It is afraid of the unknown and change and the words Faith and Trust are not in its vocabulary.  It truly doesn’t know any better.  Unfortunately, we too often give the fearful ego control of our lives and allow it to be in the Driver’s Seat.  What I would love is for all of us to start putting it in the passenger seat, or the back seat and yes occasionally in the trunk! 

Our words affect all those around us including our partners and children.  Not only are those around us affected, but also on a larger scale our thoughts don’t disappear.  The energy and frequency they hold go into our atmosphere and contribute to the fear consciousness that affects us all.

What feeds and fuels our fearful ego is our unresolved emotional issues, not only from this lifetime but what we have brought in with us to heal and release from many previous lifetimes.  Many of us have themes of being unworthy, inadequate, unsafe, not deserving and the list goes on.  While we still carry these deep core issues, we automatically go into fear and reaction when  they are triggered.  If you are not living moment to moment with clear guidance and peace of mind then you have unresolved karmic emotional issues.  Part of my specialty is I can often tap into what gifts and abilities people have.  So often over the years, I have watched while the fearful ego will do everything in its power to not acknowledge them, accept them and then express them.   If we aren’t living our purpose then we have ‘Divine Discontent’ until we start to express who we truly are.

We are at the ‘End Times’ and we can buy into the doom and gloom or we can get excited that finally a new consciousness has arrived to balance the negative ways we have been living for years.  It is not the end of the world as has been prophesized, but the world as we have known it has shifted and will continue to.  The new consciousness will not tolerate a society of greed, environmental toxicity, and incorrect use of power and will be all about co-operation, sharing, community, and working together for the highest good of all.  Many of the new children have come in to herald the changes and wake us up.    

Other than being mindful of your fearful thoughts and words, each one of us can spend more time in nature, meditate, start setting firmer boundaries in our lives and begin to truly acknowledge what magnificent beings we are.  Start believing in your dreams even when the world around you seems to be crumbling.  Balance your life in all areas and most importantly lighten up and have FUN!!  Just know that each one of us signed up to be here in these times and we are here to make a difference.  Hang in there and know that there is so much help in the physical and spiritual world.  Just remember to reach out ask for assistance from your Guides and Angels and know that you are much loved and honored.
