This post-graduate course has been developed for therapists who are interested in acquiring new resources and perspectives to enhance their current work. Sharon’s course is practical (hands on) in its orientation. It introduces exciting new ways to work the reflex areas. The work is dynamic, easy to apply and can be easily integrated into existing regimes. Teaching strategies include Power Point presentation, DVD, trainer demonstration, charts and models. Comprehensive course notes are provided. Course attendees are required to have a working knowledge of reflexology.
The workshops are ideally suited to qualified reflexologists or massage therapists who have received formal tuition in reflexology fundamentals.

Barefoot kinesiology takes reflexology and other forms of natural healing another step towards better health and greater understanding. Touch For Health Applied Kinesiology has been a successful health mode since 1974 when a chiropractor, Dr. John Thie, found that these techniques could be taught to all people so they could really be in charge of their health and that of their family. Touchpoint is the only school teaching all 4 levels as a composite. Then, instead of having to relearn, review, and unlearn bad habits, you can master all the techniques, refine them, practise them. Then you can blend TFH with your other skills or it can become your new career, with all its extras and shortcuts! On the last day of class, you will work on a stranger - your first client! A 6th day has been added as required by Can. Assoc of Specialized Kinesiology. This is a follow-up day. Students will decide on the day. Among the many techniques you will learn Acupressure massage, meridian work, Neuro-lymphatic and Neuro-vascular corrections. Muscle corrections, Food & Supplement testing, Eye & Ear corrections. Even with all the material, expect to learn with joy, laughter and 85% hands-on. Learn postural corrections, pain relief, emotional stress release, sports-related corrections. Each level will take you more deeply into the field of health maintenance as well as body repair. Muscle checking is the biofeedback tool and you will become an expert at ‘talking with the body’ . This class is 85% hand- on and will teach you all the techniques you need to improve circulation, assimilation, elimination, returning a person to their healthy, normal state.

The class is 33 hours of class time. Notes in binder - over 300 pages. Your practicum consists of work on & annotating 60 pairs of feet, giving you 60 hours of instruction and observation – its intention is to teach, not test. Upon finishing your practicum, you receive a second certificate.  We recommend that you perform 25 hours of “shadowing” & receive 2 professional sessions.

Some people prefer to have Reflexology done on their hands – they are embarrassed to show their feet. Some practitioners give their clients “homeplay” reflexes on their hands so they can help themselves. Personally, I work the hands as well as the feet in every session – to tell the body that I mean business!

This six-day program will improve your confidence and competence as you learn new techniques to improve your clients health, giving them the well-being they deserve. The advanced class is open to graduates of Touchpoint Reflexology Practitioners program and we will  consider students of other recognized schools that have attained our standards. Cranio sacral is the name given to the approach to osteopathy developed by Dr Sutherland 100 years ago. He saw how the bone structure of the skull permitted slight motion and noted that restriction of normal motion due to injury, trauma or disease could affect health. The cranial osteopath works gently with the bones in the skull and associated bodily systems to remedy such conditions. The Reflexologist can achieve the same result by combining an understanding of cranio-sacral therapy with conventional reflexology, since the bones of the feet reflect the skull and sacrum exactly.
The body’s inner health is perceived through a gentle pulse called the CSRI. It arises at the core of the body within the brain and spinal cord and the fluid, which surrounds them. It is a tide-like rhythm, which expresses itself throughout all of the body. Areas of congestion and restriction in function of any part of the body can be felt as an imbalance in its motion and treated.
A reflexologist has a highly developed sense of palpation and is trained to detect and assess the dynamic state of the body tissues;’ Both within the feet and the rest of the body. By using the gentle techniques of Cranio-Sacral Reflexology” the practitioner is able to release the strain patterns found and support the body in its attempt to retum to an ideal state of balance and function for healing to progress.

Two different techniques are used, both of them totally applicable to the esthetician, massage therapist as well as the Reflexologist.

Relieve traumas, phobias, and pain as well as small irritations that niggle and disturb your peace. This 2-day class will deal with specific points to tap in order to release bad habits, phobias, cravings, emotional and physical pain, swiftly, easily and with joy. Choose to correct your specific challenge or “piggy-back” on someone else’s session. The results are swift and magical and permanent! Bring your chocolate or cigarettes to class! Bring your stresses, your pain, chronic illness, migraines, weight concern. See and feel the immediate changes. Learn at home, at your own pace, while receiving the best possible instruction and a “hotline” to Yvette Eastman. You receive 16 lessons, plus a final exam,  along with 16 quizzes to challenge you. When you e-mail them to Touchpoint they are read and corrected. Commentaries are added then returned to you.

Yvette is at your side every step of the way, assisting you and making sure that you are comfortable with the information.  Topics range from ‘Buying the best shoes’ to ‘Visual cues’ to reflexes for specific ailments. Anatomy and Physiology are taught simply, yet completely, since our anatomy considers whole body interaction. Along with the lessons, you receive video & audiotapes, small and large wall charts, dial a reflex, wallet cards and the famous manual, Touchpoint Reflexology - The First Steps.
