TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING CLASSES


NIA TECHNIQUE: Dance/fitness fusion…a blend of martial arts, dance arts & healing arts makes this a revolutionary and intelligent cardiovascular exercise. Wear comfy clothes, no shoes (optional) & bring your water bottle. Co-ed. All ages appropriate – levels 1,2,3 available to move your unique way. Love your body ~ Love your life!

NIA 5 STAGES: Learning Nia 5 Stages Technique gives you a movement elixir for increasing body awareness and ageing with grace. These guided sessions help you gain optimal alignment, improved function and comfort in the body. You will be provided with special Nia kneepads for your floor work.

YOGA-FIT: Enjoy the benefits of mindful breathing practice, concentration, strength & flexibility. Levels 1,2,3 makes this an optimum class for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Co-ed. Wear comfy clothes, no shoes, bring a water bottle and your own mat.

NOONER SERIES: Choose from a variety of $8 single drop-ins or purchase an “unlimited” class card for even lower prices. Nia Technique, Nia 5 Stages and Yoga-Fit. Great for office staff, 40 minutes express in/out. 12:10-12:50 Mon-Fri. & Sat. morning 11:00-11:40 am.

We have a beautiful bright studio with warm and easy-on-the-joints flooring.

•Classes at MotionWorks Fitness are designed for ‘Every Beautiful Body’ and are co-ed.
•We have a beautiful bright studio with warm and easy-on-the-joints flooring. There is a washroom & sink on the premises (no showers) and an inviting sitting area. There is a small kitchen area with additional sink, microwave and fridge.
•Parking is available on Leon, Pandosy & Lawrence for short term (2 hrs.) and a convenient parking garage across the street for longer hours. Make sure you carry change for the parking meters.
•While we have mats, water etc. on site, it is advisable that you bring your own accessories.




Patti Tennessy is a certified BCRPA Weight Training FL, certified Nia Technique Black Belt & 5 Stages Instructor, certified Yoga-Fit Instructor, Pilates Allegro Reformer Instructor and a former Can-Fit Pro Nutrition & Wellness Specialist. She has extensive background in training sport specific (figure skating) for over 25 years. Patti shares a vision to create a knowledgeable and empowering fitness ethic where participants can learn and experience the joy of a healthy lifestyle.
