THE CELTIC CRYSTAL HEART
The Story of a Stone Circle and of one of Ireland's Leylines
By Celtic Wisdom Keeper Maria O’Farrell Carr

'This book is designed to share with you the amazing adventure and spiritual journey that took place in Ireland. Along with the story of messages given to Maria O'Farrell Carr from Archangel Michael and Angel Jerome. It is also a book that explores the stone circles, vortex and leylines in Ireland and in England, the OKANAGAN, BC Canada, North America and Hawaii. It is about some of the energy places that we have visited on our Sacred Tours. It reflects the new energy changes that we are experiencing now and I hope that it also enhances your spiritual connection to these magical places.'

Kale Potato Soup

Description:
This soup could be made using curly leafed kale, other times black kale. The potatoes vary, too, depending on what you have in the pantry. Savory and comforting, this soup is an excellent reminder to appreciate the gifts of winter, even when you're on the cusp of spring. Health Benefits of Eating Kale are many. Kale is being called “the new beef”, “the queen of greens” and “a nutritional powerhouse.” Kale is low in calorie, high in fiber and has zero fat. One cup of kale has only 36 calories, 5 grams of fiber and 0 grams of fat. It is great for aiding in digestion and elimination with its great fiber content. It’s also filled with so many nutrients, vitamins, folate and magnesium as well as those listed below. Kale is high in iron. Per calorie, kale has more iron than beef. Iron is essential for good health, such as the formation of hemoglobin and enzymes, transporting oxygen to various parts of the body, cell growth, proper liver function and more. Kale is high in Vitamin K. Eating a diet high in Vitamin K can help protect against various cancers. It is also necessary for a wide variety of bodily functions including normal bone health and the prevention of blood clotting. Also increased levels of vitamin K can help people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Kale is filled with powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants, such as carotenoids and flavonoids help protect against various cancers. Kale is a great anti-inflammatory food. One cup of kale is filled with 10% of the RDA of omega-3 fatty acids, which help, fight against arthritis, asthma and autoimmune disorders. Kale is great for cardiovascular support. Eating more kale can help lower cholesterol levels. Kale is high in Vitamin A.Vitamin A is great for your vision, your skin as well as helping to prevent lung and oral cavity cancers. Kale is high in Vitamin C. This is very helpful for your immune system, your metabolism and your hydration. Kale is high in calcium. Per calorie, kale has more calcium than milk, which aids in preventing bone loss, preventing osteoporosis and maintaining a healthy metabolism. Vitamin C is also helpful to maintain cartilage and joint flexibility Lastly, Kale is a great detox food. Kale is filled with fiber and sulfur, both great for detoxifying your body and keeping your liver healthy. Chop Kale finely into your next salad, steam or use in soups.

Portobello Mushroom, Goat Cheese and Walnut Sliders

Description:
This bite-size mushroom burger makes a tasty meat-free option at summer barbecues. Portobello mushrooms, sometimes also spelled portabella, are actually the same species as a crimini mushroom. Generally, the mushroom is called a crimini when small and a portabello when its cap has grown to about four to six inches in diameter. These large brown mushrooms have a meaty texture and can be grilled, roasted or used as an ingredient in other dishes. One cup of sliced portobello mushrooms, approximately 121 g, makes up a single serving and has only 42 calories. There is 1 g of fat and 5 g of protein in a cup of sliced portobello mushrooms. The total carbohydrate content of a serving of portobello mushrooms is 6 g, of which 3 g is fiber. Water makes up 108 g of the total weight of a 1-cup serving. There are only 12 mg of sodium in a cup of portobello mushrooms, so it is considered a low-sodium food. A 1-cup serving of portobello mushrooms supplies 31 percent of the daily recommended intake of selenium, or 21.4 mcg. It also contains 30 percent of the recommendation for copper and 18 percent of the requirement for both phosphorus and potassium. Other minerals in portabello mushrooms include iron, magnesium, manganese, calcium and zinc. In a serving of portobello mushrooms, there is 7.2 mg of the vitamin niacin, or 36 percent of the daily recommended intake, and 0.6 mg of riboflavin, or 34 percent of the recommendation for that vitamin. Portabello mushrooms also contain the vitamins pantothenic acid, folate, choline, vitamin B6 and thiamin, also known as vitamin B1. The nutrient betaine is also found in portabello mushrooms. Mushrooms also contain compounds called purines, which may cause health problems in individuals with gout. People with this condition may want to avoid eating portobello mushrooms. More antioxidant activity is found in the caps of mushrooms than in the stems. Unlike many other foods, most of the antioxidant level in mushrooms is not destroyed by cooking.

Raw - Ice Creme Parfait with Cacao

Description:
This is a super easy way to make ice crème. There are many “raw food” versions of ice cream but this is by far the quickest. Other versions include nut milk or coconut milk and can be processed in an ice cream maker. They are all delicious and nutritious.

QUESTION: If I brush my teeth twice a day, why do I also need to Floss?.

ANSWER: Flossing not only cleans areas of your teeth where ordinary toothbrushes can't reach, it is a key factor in preventing gum disease. Brushing is an excellent beginning, but flossing is a crucial factor when it comes to keeping your teeth healthy.

The bacteria that get caught in the nooks and crannies between teeth and in the tight spaces that toothbrushes can't reach are removed by flossing. Bacteria, if not removed regularly, may cause a host of problems in your mouth.

For instance, a by-product of the bacteria is acid; this acid eats into the enamel of otherwise healthy teeth and creates cavities (no one wants cavities). Another by-product of the bacteria is a sulfur compound which causes halitosis (aka bad breath). If that's not bad enough, remnants of food, combined with remaining bacteria turns into a stronger byproduct called plaque. Plaque, left hanging around between the teeth will become an even stronger more toothbrush resistant substance called tarter.

Tarter is not removed by normal brushing. Tarter removal requires the professional services of a dentist (now is when it starts to cost financially, dentists are not free). Tarter left alone allows the bacteria to breed and cause an even more serous condition called gingivitis. Gingivitis occurs when the bacteria emits toxins that irritate the gums and causes redness and swelling. If the tarter isn't removed, it worsens and causes periodontal disease.

The Earth is more alive than you think. In the deepest parts of the oceans, there is life. In the depths of the Earth, where volcanoes are born, there is life. Some of them are already starting to see it, and they are talking about physics with an attitude, and intelligent design.

June 2016

Tip of the Month:

The New Moon in Gemini occurs on March 4th. It hosts an exciting alignment of planets including an exact triple conjunction of the Sun, Moon, and Venus. Furthermore, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto and the Moon’s Nodal axis are all in close aspect to this king, queen and princess alignment. Basically, this will activate a pivotal cycle for many.

A core feature of the themes indicated is linked to relationship fronts. Personal/romantic, social/cultural, and collective/economic activity will escalate. We can expect a lively and animated time complete with a noticeable increase in exciting new ideas and perspectives on the social airwaves.

In other respects, June will prove to be a go-ahead month for many people and in many ways. In some respects, relationships recently initiated will enter into their net effective stage. Yet, long-standing involvements may well end. Of course, life is all about beginnings and endings, but this month will likely ma...
