Amanda Sloan - Fresh Cuisine Recipe Book.
I recently read the new recipe book by Amanda J
Sloan who is from New Zealand. This book is for people looking for a Sugar
Free, Gluten Free and Vegan Food. How does she do this? well this unique book only uses fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, and
spices as natural sweeteners. It is a diet full of enzymes for digestion, also
using nutritious whole grains, beans, lentils, pulses and seeds. The only fat
used is extra virgin olive oil which is my oil of choice. I found it is a great
recipe book for detoxing the liver (as it uses Fresh produce), equalling a
clean, energetic mind and body. The recipes were very easy to follow.
This book is full colour, 92 pages, glossy
cover and A4 and is available on Amazon

THEE ESSENCE OF SOUND by EVELYN MULDERS
I opened Evelyn's book The Essence of Sound and my soul grinned. I stand in awe of this woman's gifts, abilities, and insights. She is a visionary and is committed to sharing her wisdom with us. To me, this is an encyclopedia of sound meridians, chakras, auric field and figure eight energies. It's for the beginner and the advanced. She has beautifully combined, in such a user friendly way, the core of energy work into one great book. I immediately felt it to be one of the most comprehensive books on the subject. I'm excited for all the possibilities and I appreciate the heart and love that is in this book. It's wonderful. Thank-you Evelyn.
Tawni K. Lawrence, LMT,CLP.
“The Essence of Sound is a welcome, comprehensive, and highly sophisticated guide to the body's energy systems. It teaches you how to use sound, herbs, crystals, gemstones, aromas, colours and affirmations to orchestrate the energies of your meridians, chakras and aura into a beautiful symphony. Beyond this, it integrates the body's complex energy systems into an encyclopedic guide we can all use and understand. I recommend it highly”

Diana Marchiel - Book Review`s
"Your Vital Child" By Mark and Angela Stengler, NDs This book was a wonderful reference to any parent looking for natural alternatives to treat and keep children healthy and happy. It has many references to healthy food choices, and recommended daily allowances for children's nutritional needs. The great thing this book offers that it talks about supplementation, as well as herbal applications for many different aliments. In addition to the alphabetical listings of diseases and aliments, there are sections in the book that specifically address: emergencies, vaccinations, breastfeeding, homeopathy, massage and acupressure, to name a few. I particularly liked the short section called "Your Child's Natural Medicine Kit". throughout the book there are sidebars that feature "Vital Facts" or "Case Histories", I liked the short blurps of information and statistics these provided. There are also references for parents and caregivers to find out more information, including websites and phone numbers of any particular groups they are interested in, such as the different therapies available. All in all I believe my family will benefit from having this book lying around the house, ready to refer to at any time. Submitted by Diana Marchiel. Oliver, B.C
"10 Secrets to Success and Inner Peace" By Dr. Wayne Dyer A beautifully done book, with tons of brilliant analogies for how to make your own life more simple and fulfilled. Dr. Dyer goes into detail about creating a purpose-filled life that includes Love and God, as well as tips on following your path. He shows the reader how be more optimistic. He shows us how we have a choice in all of the things we do in life, and that although fate is involved, it is how you make your choices that lead you to where you want to go. I found this book an easy and enlightening read, and finished it feeling more refreshed and happy about life in general. A really special book. As soon as I read it I went out and bought my own copy. This book would also make a suitable gift for any new graduate, or anyone who is in the process of finding their own true path and happiness. Submitted by Diana Marchiel. Oliver, B.C.

The Disappearance of The Universe by Gary Renard I have personally found this to be a book that definitely brings my focus to taking one action over and over. Taking this action will ultimately awaken each of us and bring us “Home”. It has rekindled my desire to study “The Course In Miracles” once again and for that I am grateful. I will never look at life quite the same, reading this book created a paradigm shift in me. I truly realized things are simple and yet not easy. This book has also made so many of the New Age concepts more understandable for me. I highly recommend this book and encourage you to further study The Course In Miracles. Tips to Lower Sodium Intake | Have you been advised to limit your sodium intake? If so, try to eat a variety of raw, dried and frozen vegetables. Most of them are naturally low in sodium. Canned vegetables generally contain a significant amount of added salt unless the label states that it is low in sodium. Look for descriptions such as "no salt added" and "reduced sodium" on the Nutrition Facts labels when buying canned vegetables. |
