Salmon Can’t Speak Up, But We Can - November 2013

The federal government knows how to help wild salmon. They’re just not doing it.

These numbers show the thoroughness of the Cohen Commission of Inquiry into the Decline of Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River. For three years, the Commission gathered the most up-to-date science, listened to testimony from scores of expert witnesses and then developed 75 clear recommendations to help rebuild Pacific salmon populations.

A year has passed. Not one of the recommendations has been followed by the Government of Canada.

You can help change that.

Please send a letter to your Member of Parliament now. Tell your MP you want the Cohen Commission recommendations put into force without delay.
