Manifestation - August 2009By Sharon Taphorn, Vancouver, BC
“I do believe it is possible to create, even without ever writing a word or painting a picture, by simply moulding one's inner life. And that too is a deed.” -Etty Hillesum
In order to manifest here on the earth plane, one doesn’t have to do anything at all. Life happens, whether we are paying attention or not. Manifesting isn’t about money or objects, manifesting is about making things appear in this physical 3D world.
I have learned that I can either react to life as it comes my way, or I can consciously decide what direction I want my life to be heading by being pro active, the choice is entirely mine. I know that when I began looking at life consciously, I began manifesting the things I wanted to create.
There are many tools and techniques created to assist us in learning to manifest the things we want in our lives, from romance, to houses, to communicating with other dimensions. The all break down to several common denominators beginning with understanding the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is a universal law that states: “Energy flows where your attention goes”, or “You get what you think about, whether you want it or not”, or “As you believe, so shall it be”. Whether you believe in this Law or not, my experience has been that it indeed works every time.
We all have some tangible proof that we have been able to accomplish something in our lives that we truly believed we were capable of doing. So, why is it that sometimes we manifest these ‘awful’ or ‘unwanted’ events in our lives, and how do we start manifesting the life we know in our hearts we were truly meant to live on the physical human journey?
Your life is shaped by the things you spend the most time thinking about. Within each one of us is a divine capacity to manifest and attract all that we need or desire.
Oftentimes the greatest challenge in becoming in charge of manifesting is where to begin. Most of us are aware of the things we want to create in our lives by knowing the things we lack in our lives. And therefore often focus on the lack, creating more lack, longing and desire for that which we don’t have and therefore create more of that which we do not have – the Law of Attraction at its finest hour.
By practicing a few tools and techniques, you can begin the process of manifesting the life you would like to create, becoming the conscious creating in your own book of life.
Let us begin by thinking about some things we would like to manifest in this reality:
- List some things you would like to create now.
- Look at how you feel about each of these things. We have no neutral thoughts, so it is important for us to each take a look at how we really feel about the subject at hand. For example, let’s say I want to create life partner. I would begin by listing all the thoughts I have about having a partner in my life. What I want in that partner and relationship.
- Go through this list and see where your thoughts are about the subject. In my example of the partner, by reviewing my responses I can determine if I truly want to create this in my life. If I notice a pattern of thoughts that are not aligned to me allowing a partner in my life, do I truly have the passion to create this life experience? If I don’t have this passion, that is my sign to let it go. If I do have the passion, then I know this is something worth spending some time focusing my attention. How do I decide if I have the passion – I tune into the energy of heart, not my head. That requires a brief meditation (which I recommend at the beginning of the exercise anyway), I quiet my mind, my body, my thoughts, set my intent for what I am about to do, give thanks for the focus and clarity I receive, focus my attention on my heart area, open my eyes and begin my task. As I am working through my list, I pay attention to if the statements I made about this creation make me feel good, seem like a lot work, evoke no emotion at all...etc. That determines my level of passion.
After this exercise, I then know if I truly want to manifest this desire in the physical world, if I trust that I can indeed create this and that I have the passion to do all the steps that are necessary to make it happen. If any of these things are lacking, I am probably going to create less or the opposite of what I truly desire.
Manifesting is easy, the challenge is in learning to keep our thoughts focused and clear on what we want, therefore allowing the energy of that to flow to us. We are all brilliant manifestors, the key is consciously manifesting with truth, trust and passion, and creating the life experience we want to see manifest around us.
Sharon's Bio: I am a Teacher, Healer, and Adventurer on this human journey. As an early indigo, I felt most at home with nature and animals. I have always been empathic and sensitive to the energies in my environment. Learning to work with these enhanced senses in the 3D world has been an interesting journey. I began to seek answers and clarity in books and libraries at an early age, my quest for a better understanding of why I could see, hear, feel and smell things others could not. This led to an exploration of many religions, beliefs and experiences, some dark, some strange. I learned the power of our thoughts, and working with other dimensional energies through classes on empowerment, workshops, books and life experience. A life threatening illness in my son when he was three led me to Nursing, which led me to alternative healing as my patients would tell me they felt better when I was working (I knew I had a healing touch and made a point of always touching my patients). And mother to a 22 year old multidimensional Indigo. - Email

 | Braised Chicken Slow Cooker/Crock Pot Recipe | Category: Slow Cooker! Description: This slow cooker chicken recipe is great to make the night before or in the morning and it will be already for you at the end of the day. You may add some extra vegetable to this dish or cook separately. Chicken is rated as a very good source of protein, providing 67.6% of the daily value for protein in 4 ounces. The structure of humans and animals is built on protein. We derive our amino acids from animal and plant sources of protein, then rearrange the nitrogen to make the pattern of amino acids we require. People who are meat eaters, but are looking for ways to reduce the amount of fat in their meals, can try eating more chicken. The leanest part of the chicken is the chicken breast, which has less than half the fat of a trimmed Choice grade T-bone steak. The fat in chicken is also less saturated than beef fat. However, eating the chicken with the skin doubles the amount of fat and saturated fat in the food. For this reason, chicken is best skinned before cooking.
