EarthStar Wheel: Vortices, Leylines in the Okanagan - January 2020

EarthStar Wheel: Vortices in North America

Ancient people knew that wherever the earth's energy gathered into a vortex was a sacred place. These strongly charged areas of the globe have also been the places where people have chosen to build churches, temples and other centers of spirit and learning. Places like Stonehenge, the Pyramids of Egypt, Easter Island, Yucatan, Mt. Shasta, Lake Titicaca, Ayres Rock,  Glastonbury, Kuh-e Malek Siah in Iran, Mt. Kailasin Tibet, and sacred sites in Ireland and so on are well known as vortex spots.

Vortices appear to be points of power or energy on the Earth or “Earth Chakras”, and ley lines are the relationships between those points. An analogy might be that the vortices are accupressure points and the ley lines between them are meridians on the skin of the body of Mother Earth.

This system of vortices and ley lines is not a new idea. Sacred temples of the ancient world around the Mediterranean are located at powerful vortices, and drawing lines between them will bring out patterns of triangles. The Indians in the American Southwest as well as those in Peru and other parts of South America located their cities and the roads between them on vortices and ley lines, which look Like so many spokes and hubs. The Chinese practice the ancient science of geomancy. "The Olde Straite Pathes" of England, the location of Stonehenge and it's relationship to the Great Pyramid, Glastonbury and the myth of Avalon correlate to vortices. I'm sure there are many more examples throughout the world.

There are three main types of vortexes - all three are replenishing and supercharged with high quality energy. The three vortex types are:

  • Electric - stimulates and energizes, activates
  • Magnetic - attracts energy to the area
  • Electromagnetic -both activates and attracts energy

There are powerful vortexes scattered around the globe that are, in essence, the Earth's chakra system. Earth has both a major and a minor chakra system, just as people do. With the advent of modern life and wide spread pollution, the Earth's chakras have become contaminated - and in need of clearing. Ancient mystics such as the Druids used song, sounds, and ceremonies to keep a chakra open, cleaned, and in proper working order. More and more people in the 21st century are remembering these old ways and are once again paying homage in ritual to the Great Mother. People are relearning the ancient shamanic and medicine way knowledge, centered on a relationship with the Earth. This not only helps heal the Earth, but affects the person strongly as well. Again, the relationship between the Earth and us is reciprocal. We affect each other in direct and subtle ways.

As people meditate and send energy to the Earth while close to a vortex point, most come to a common realization. These vortexes serve as portals - ones that humans can tap to touch their own higher dimensional selves.
Although some may think vortexes and energy grids are pure fantasy, science is beginning to prove that this ancient teaching is actual fact. As Joseph Jochmans wrote in Earth, the Crystal Planet"In 1973

One of the well known leylines starts in Ireland and is called the Michael leyline.

I grew up in Ireland and now live in the Okanagan, in BC. The Lake Okanagan is one of the points on the Earth Energy wheel. Then the Leyine branch out from the Okanagan Lake vortex up across BC. The same goes for Banff Lake vortex. The leylines fan up along Alberta. The same goes for each point on the wheel.

EarthStar in North AmericaFrom an imaginary viewpoint out in space. large vortices appear to be the hubs of wheels, and the spokes emanating from them are ley lines. Some of these "spokes" are more powerful than others, just as there seems to be different degrees of strength to the vortices. These spokes are like gears, in that the spokes are fixed, but energy whirls about, to and from the vortices, moving from spoke to spoke in whirls of different and changing frequencies.

North American EarthStar Wheel

In this Earth Energy or Earth Star wheel, which reminds me of a flower, are nineteen mountains and bodies of water form a nearly perfect circle around the Grand Tetons. The ceremonial points around the perimeter of the Medicine Wheel are located in close proximity to these sacred sites:

  1. Sullivan Lake (North), Alberta
  2. North Saskatchewan River, (Battleford) Alberta. The North Saskatchewan River is a glacier-fed river, falls within the Banff National Park and flows east from the Canadian Rockies to central Saskatchewan.
  3. Qu'appelle River. This Canadian river that flows from Lake Diefenbaker in Saskatchewan to join the Assiniboine River in Manitoba.
  4. Souris River, snakes through Saskatchewan,North Dakota,Manitoba
  5. James River , N & S. Dakota (Serpent shaped). (The James River flows into the Missouri River. It is the longest river in North America and turns into the Platte River which runs into the Mississippi River which flows to the Gulf of Mexico.
  6. Missouri River
  7. Platte River, (Rainbow snake) Nebraska. .
  8. Arkansas River
  9. Cimarron River (New Mexico)
  10. 10.Mt. Taylor (Turquoise Mt., N.M) - The Navajo
  11. 11.Mt. Humphrey (Flagstaff) and Sedona, AZ
  12. Colorado River (Lake Mead)
  13. 13.Mt. Whitney, California
  14. Lake Tahoe (between California & Nevada)
  15. 15.Mt. Shasta, California. This extinct volcano is in Northern California. This sacred mountain is known as an incarnation of the Great Central Sun of this universe. It is a focus for angels, spirit-guides, masters from the Light Realm, and the home of the survivors of Ancient Lemuria, which sank under the waves of the Pacific Ocean a little over 12,000 years ago. This is also where the wheel connects to the Rainbow Serpent.
  16. Three Sisters, Oregon. (...in the Old Celtic religion, the ‘three maidens’ or ‘three sisters’ were a symbol of the Goddess in her three distinct phases of Virgin (new moon), Mother (full moon) and Crone (waning moon).
  17. 17.Mt. Rainier, Washington - It is an active volcano
  18. Okanagan Lake (Serpent shaped). 1,000 feet deep, 90 miles long, Okanagan Lake, in BC, Canada, is one of the deepest lakes in North America. By an extinct volcano in Penticton. Also the home of the survivors of Ancient Lemuria. Okanagan's Largest Summer Solistic is held here in Penticton by the Lake, each June.
  19. Lake Louise and Mt. Temple, Banff
Except for the lines that end at the Oregon Vortex and the trench off the coast of Southern Oregon, almost all of these principal lines continue on to other countries and continents. These energy vortexes LeyLines continue across North America.

Except for the lines that end at Santa Barbara, the Oregon Vortex and the trench off the coast of Southern Oregon, almost all of these principal lines continue on to other countries and continents.

On a subtle-energy level, Earth’s energy field is an invisible electromagnetic grid system composed of energy pathways or leylines.
Noted by the Irish as 'fairy paths'; the Europeans as 'line songs'; and the Chinese as 'dragon currents', these natural energy pathways intersect one another, creating high energy ( positive/negative or yin/yang ) vortices – Power Spots. Additionally, high-energy vortex areas ( power spots ) are considered to be powerful energetic gateways or portals to multidimensional realities. Likewise, Native wisdom claims that these areas are where physical and nonphysical worlds interconnect and merge as one.
Evidently, high energy zones have the ability to 'attract'; well known temples and monuments are located at these sites.

Please note that energy mentioned here is specific energy zones of Earth. Bear in mind that energy is everywhere and the vortex phenomena will occur in all shapes and sizes: sunspots, chakras, you … the Universe. It has been suggested that there once existed a network of aligned sacred and ancient sites that composed what is commonly termed today 'The World-Grid'. The obvious propensity for straight lines in prehistory is demonstrated by the numerous 'ley-lines' and geometric alignments around the ancient world. It is also common to find that such alignments connect prehistoric sites together, which is one of the main arguments put forward to supports the idea of the existence of a prehistoric 'world grid'.

A group of people are going from the Okanagan, BC and Alberta to visit some of the leylines and sacred sites in Ireland each year. If you would like to know about this tour please contact Maria Carr www.IrelandSacredTours.com

Crispy Baked Asian Chicken Wings
Category: Main Meals
Description: There are few occasions when I’d argue that “baked” rules over “deep-fried.” But believe it or not, a piping hot oven—and not a vat of bubbling oil—is the secret to the crispiest, crackliest chicken wings. And with just five ingredients and 50 minutes, you’ll be licking your fingers clean for every last taste of these Crispy Baked Asian Chicken Wings. Sound too good to be true?
I consider myself a bit of a wing connoisseur. Buffalo, chipotle, teriyaki, barbecue—you name it, I’ve winged it. While it’s hard to beat basic butter and hot sauce, I’ve turned to my favorite hoisin and blackberry jam glaze (of mini-meatball fame) to add a sweet and tangy twist to each crunchy bite. I guarantee these wings will fly off the plate. (You had to know that was coming…)
