As an Energy Kinesiologist the first thing I want to look for in the body is electrical scrambling. I want to make sure that the brain is able to communicate clearly with the body and there is no confusion in coordination and function. If we check for "switching" (electrical scrambling in the body), we often find it. This would mean that if we started testing without attending to this neurological disorganization we would get less than optimum results.
How do switching problems manifest?
Side to side switching problems show as confusion between right and left, and the dyslexic tendency to confuse d and b.
To correct: hold the navel with one hand, rub the end of the collarbone (about 20 times) with the other hand, change hands and repeat.
Top and bottom switching problems show as difficulty walking up and down stairs, disorientation looking down from heights (or looking up), and the dyslexic tendency to confuse b and p.
To correct: hold the navel with one hand, rub the top and bottom lips with the other hand, change hands and repeat.
Front and back switching problems include not being able to reverse a car using the rear vision mirror, and the dyslexic tendecy to have handwriting slide up or down as it goes across the page.
To correct: hold the navel with one hand, rub the tail bone with the other hand, change hands and repeat.
For this reason we always "switch on" before a balance. This ensures the brain is able to communicate clearly with the body and there is no confusion in coordination and function
